The BD8 model stands out from the rest of the Soundpower Series models, with its relatively high weight it delivers more foundation from Bass drum, be it in Marching, Drum Corps or Concert. The ca.42cm long contoured handles of the BD8 Soundpower mallet is made from maple, while the round seamless felt head has a diameter measuring 3-3/8" (ca. 8.6 cm). The BD8 is very flexible in its application; at low volumes it produces a round, warm sound but also the ultimate Fortissimo when required.
