The Vic Firth MJC2 Modern Jazz Drum Stick is slightly thinner than a conventional 5A model and has an extra long shoulder, which gives it excellent response and playability. The extended arrow tip has an extra large contact surface that tickles complex overtones out of the cymbals.

The Vic Firth Modern Jazz series includes a series of drum sticks created in collaboration with some of the greatest jazz drummers of our time. From thousands of prototypes, only a handful were selected to become part of the Modern Jazz series. Available are drum stick models made of hickory and maple, with wooden or nylon tip.
