With the
Walrus Audio Mako D1
, the Oklahoma City based effects company has launched a particularly versatile stereo delay for fans of atmospheric sounds. This FX pedal offers a total of
five different delay sounds
, of which "
Digital
" features crystal-clear repetitions and "
Vintage
" delivers the warm sound of a classic tape echo. The "
Modulation
" mode, on the other hand, lets the echoes float with a harmonic chorus, while "
Dual
" sends the signal through two parallel delay lines, creating rhythmic variations within the repetitions. The "
Reverse
" mode plays the echoes backwards, the interactive
tweak switch and knob
also allow for further customization of the sounds. An exclusive feature of the Walrus Audio Mako D1 is the
Attack control
, which softens the attack of the echoes and thus creates especially atmospheric sounds. Last but not least, the Mako D1 offers a
tap tempo
function with subdivisions,
MIDI support
and
nine onboard presets
to save your favourite settings.
