With the Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe, effects genius Brian Wampler creates a flexible overdrive effects pedal whose sound is deeply rooted in the British blues and rock of the sixties. Following the amp-in-a-box concept, the pedal accordingly impresses with the authentic gain structure and dynamics of British vintage tube amps, while the active 3-band tone control allows precise adjustment of the timbre. In addition, the Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe features a Bass Boost that gives the sound the rich bass hammering of a large guitar cabinet, while the Bright Boost lets the treble shine through the band mix. There is also a switchable boost on board, which gives the Wampler Plexi-Drive Deluxe additional gain reserves with emphasis on the mids.
