The Wampler Plexi-Drive Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal was created to emulate the sound of Marshall amplifiers; the legendary tight overdrive and coveted bass response of early rock legends including Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream and AC/DC.

With these huge influential musicians and tones in mind, Brian Wampler sat down and designed a pedal that could give help him produce the same guitar tones of some of his rock heroes – without requiring the purchase of a vintage Marshall stack. Enter the Plexi-Drive.

The Plexi-Drive’s unique gain structure is capable of running the tonal rock gamete. From bluesy style 18-watt Marshall tones to the all out massive rock tones of a JTM-45 cranked to ten (or 11), the Plexi-Drive can handle it all with ease. With the bass boost option, you can emulate the sound low-end thump of a 4x12” cabinet (or two) at the flick of a switch. The bass boost will allow you to dial in your low end at lower volume gigs or at bedroom volume levels.
