Versatile Overdrive from the Wampler Collective series.
The Wampler Triumph Overdrive guitar pedal from the Collective series bears Brian Wampler's unmistakable signature and offers first-class overdrive sounds at a surprisingly attractive price. Built with high-quality components, the analogue circuit offers two basic sound modes with different tonal characters. While the Triumph's Smooth mode delivers a classic Overdrive with assertively emphasized mids and well-dosed treble bite, the Punch mode promises an open sound character and excellent response to playing dynamics due to reduced compression. In addition to the gain control for the intensity of the distortion, the Wampler Triumph Overdrive pedal offers a 3-band tone control for precise adjustment of the timbre.
This is one of the best sounding, most versatile overdrives. The mid range knob allows you to get whatever you are aiming for. The tone of this accurately nails a roaring amp. Soft and hard clipping gives two different sounds. This sounds great with every amp. A bargain at twice the price.
