The WERSI SONIC OAX1 keyboard gives you the full power of the OAX system in a compact chassis at an outstanding price.
The ABACUS KS1 was the world’s first keyboard to integrate a complete Windows PC, setting new standards. The new OAX1 BK continues this legacy, presenting itself as a modern, forward-thinking instrument. Equipped with the latest Windows 11 operating system, a high-performance processor, and intuitive controls, it ensures long-term future readiness.
The high-quality 76-key keybed lets you assign up to 16 voices across the keyboard. Responsive velocity sensitivity and aftertouch provide expressive control, allowing you to refine your sound in detail.
The SONIC OAX1 was designed with intuitive, hands-on operation in mind. A wide array of controls, their logical layout, and the 13.3" touchscreen display ensure seamless access to all functions. Volume levels for manuals and accompaniment tracks can be adjusted at any time using practical drawbars so you stay in full control, even during performance.
Wersi instruments are high-tech systems far more than traditional electronic organs. Each instrument integrates a powerful computer with exceptionally future-oriented software, developed in Germany over thousands of hours and continuously refined. This commitment is one reason why Wersi remains one of the few surviving organ manufacturers worldwide.

Each instrument contains a powerful computer with exceptionally future-oriented software. This software was created by German developers in thousands of hours of work and is constantly being developed further. This makes Wersi one of the few manufacturers to have survived the worldwide demise of the organ industry - and for good reason:
Another unique advantage:

The sound of sinewave drawbars is inseparably linked with legends such as Klaus Wunderlich, Franz Lambert, and Jimmy Smith, who defined this unmistakable style. Shape your organ sound in real time using 9 drawbars (upper/right) and 7 drawbars (lower/left).
Experience the distinctive OAX sound through the integrated speaker system, driven by a 2 × 60-watt RMS power amplifier.

A remarkable innovation by the Wersi development team in Germany currently exclusive to Wersi.
Earlier Wersi chord functions assigned all instruments to a single pitch, which did not reflect authentic big band voicing. In contrast, real big band arrangements distribute instruments such as trumpet, trombone, and saxophone across chord tones creating a natural, full-bodied ensemble sound.
WERSI Chord Band is available separately as a chargeable update.

The future is now OAX!
The WERSI OAX series is built on state-of-the-art technologies, the result of continuous development and close market observation. These instruments push the boundaries of what is technically possible. Full software control of the entire system enables an unprecedented level of flexibility unmatched by other manufacturers.
Continuous evolution
OAX instruments are among the first to be fully expandable via software not only in terms of sounds, but also functionality. Completely new features can be added over time.
This ensures that your OAX instrument remains at the cutting edge for years to come. Even now, a dedicated development team is working on daily improvements.
You can activate 11 expansion packs (as of 07/23) for the instruments in the OAX series. These expansion packs contain new styles, new tones and completely new functions.
The range is expanding.
You can find the current expansion packages here!
When you power on the instrument, only the essential controls are displayed. The interface mirrors the instrument layout: at the top is the Total Preset (for instant global changes), followed by the upper manual, lower manual, and bass/accompaniment sections. Selecting a sound opens a dedicated page with matching instruments. Like a modern smartphone, you can easily navigate and reposition elements.
You’ll be surprised how intuitively you can operate the SONIC in EASY mode with no manual required. Just switch on, play, and enjoy the outstanding sound.
For advanced users, PROFI mode unlocks extended functionality. Layer more than three sounds and access deeper parameter control while still maintaining clarity and ease of use. You can assign up to 16 voices across the manuals and monitor available resources in the Soundpool section.

WERSI Drawbars
Nothing compares to the tactile response of real drawbars. That rich, physical feel when pulling them out is a defining part of the organ experience. With the WERSI OX7, you can recreate the classic Wersi organ sound.
VB3 Drawbar
The WERSI VB3 brings you remarkably close to the vintage electromechanical tonewheel sound. Pull out the drawbars step by step, switch the rotary speaker between slow and fast. Experience an authentic organ sound that truly captivates.

The historic organ built by Gottfried Silbermann (1683–1753) has been located in the church of Zöblitz since 1742. Silbermann received 800 thalers for this instrument, plus additional compensation for himself and his assistants.
This unique historical church organ is faithfully reproduced and playable on your OAX instrument.
The FARFISA Compact series, introduced in 1964, was the first portable organ line from the Italian manufacturer. The red Compact Combo organ became iconic and featured in countless bands.
Integrated effects add the finishing touch: chorus, echo, scanner vibrato, rotary speaker simulation, and amplifier modeling are all included.

The SONIC impresses not only with its large display and intuitive workflow, but above all with its exceptional sound quality enabled by newly developed audio boards. Explore expressive wind instruments, a convincing grand piano, rich choirs, and lush string textures with powerful low-end timpani. Discover cutting-edge synthesizer sounds typically reserved for high-end instruments, alongside the signature Wersi organ tones controlled via drawbars. Aftertouch on both manuals allows for expressive real-time modulation:
Shape vibrato on a pan flute, open filters on synth patches, or transform brass sounds into dynamic shake trumpets. It’s not something you can fully describe you have to experience it.

In addition to the fully variable drawbar engines, the instrument includes over 100 preset voices from legendary WERSI models of the past. These feature classic analog instruments such as Helios and Galaxis with the iconic Klaus Wunderlich sound alongside drawbar voices from the DX series and, of course, the Spectra and Atlantis sounds from the WERSI CD series.

Experience the natural, unmistakable tone of a concert grand, with a wide sonic palette suited to all genres from classical and jazz to musical theatre and pop. Six velocity layers, combined with an additional soundboard sample set (1 GB), deliver the full dynamic range from delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo an authentic grand piano experience on the new WERSI SONIC. The electric piano section spans everything from vintage Rhodes tones to modern EP sounds. Choose a soft, bell-like tone with lush chorus for ballads, or a punchy, groove-oriented EP for pop. Layering acoustic and electric pianos opens up particularly rich and expressive textures.

The WERSI SONIC features a powerful and highly flexible synthesizer engine. It supports all major synthesis methods, including analog synthesis (with three oscillators), wavetable synthesis, and FM synthesis. These can be freely combined and expanded with sample-based elements. With over 50 onboard effects such as distortion, delay, chorus, filters, and compression, you can precisely shape your sound. From fat analog brass and monophonic lead voices to evolving pads and complex electronic textures, more than 400 modern synth sounds are available. The integrated arpeggiator automatically transforms held chords into intricate note patterns, always synchronized to the current tempo making it ideal for creating dynamic soundscapes over rhythmic styles.

Whether for cinematic scoring, classical arrangements, or emotional ballads, you have instant access to richly orchestrated ensembles: strings, brass, woodwinds, and orchestral percussion all at the touch of a button. No need to painstakingly layer individual sounds so you can focus entirely on your musical expression and enjoy conducting your own SONIC orchestra.

The SONIC offers highly expressive and lifelike choir sounds. Jazzy scat vocals bring swing arrangements to life, while classical choirs blend beautifully with the string section for lush, cinematic textures. Combine a church organ with the “Agnus Dei” choir for a festive, atmospheric sound perfectly suitable for Christmas repertoire. Or choose modern pop vocals for contemporary productions. Whatever your style, SONIC provides the right choir.

Selecting Accordion Live brings up a realistic accordion register interface on the display. Switching registers even reproduces the characteristic mechanical click. The sounds themselves are exceptionally authentic: from the rich tone of a Hohner Morino to the classic double-octave configuration (4' + 16') and the renowned Supita accordion. The French musette accordion features slightly detuned reeds, creating its signature shimmering sound ideal for chansons or Styrian folk styles. The Alpina accordion is perfectly suited to Alpine music. In addition, a wide selection of preset accordion voices is available for all genres.
The SONIC backing band uses an advanced chord recognition and voicing engine, delivering musically refined and highly realistic results. Equally important are the instrument sounds: the drum grooves are based on real recorded drum performances, captured in professional studios with multi-microphone setups. Complete your band with acoustic and electric guitars, electric pianos, or even a full brass section which are all seamlessly integrated into your performance. With optional expansion packs, styles from other manufacturers can be converted into the WERSI OAX format, giving you access to an extensive library of accompaniment styles.

What many manufacturers cannot offer or only with additional, costly hardware the OAX system delivers natively: full VST plug-in integration. Even factory plug-ins can be flexibly rerouted (“rewired”). For example, accompaniment drums can be processed through external effects plug-ins. The VST ecosystem has grown rapidly in recent years, offering a vast range of instruments for every musical style. Loaded VST sounds can be used across manuals, sequences, and styles provided the plug-in supports multi-timbral operation.
A newly developed audio board with excellent specifications ensures a clear, warm, and detailed sound. The system is powered by Windows 11 (64-bit) and modern PC hardware, including a high-performance CPU, fast 32 GB RAM, and an M.2 SSD forming the foundation of a future-proof musical instrument.

The WERSI Vocalis speakers are characterized by a homogeneous character with a tendency towards brilliance. The mids are well defined and the bass range is calm and balanced. The ribbon transducers in the treble range provide the user with an absolutely high-resolution monitoring signal that perfectly reproduces the transients in the mid and treble spectrum without ever appearing obtrusive, as is unfortunately the case with many other competing systems.
The Wersi TS9000 speaker "Made in Germany" was developed for the large WERSI instruments and specially designed for the low organ basses. After years of almost unchanged production, the WERSI success model is now back.
The TS9000 offers a room-filling, warm, rich hi-fi sound and a bass sound that gets under your skin. And all crystal clear at any volume. The power amplifier and crossover are optimally matched to the specially selected loudspeaker. The 300 watt power amplifier offers sufficient reserves when you play for a house party.
