With Oradea, XAOC Devices presents a quadruple, voltage-controlled resonator. The module is primarily designed as a filter unit for processing audio signals, but can also be used as an independent sound source thanks to its exciter feature. Each of the four identically constructed channels has a bandpass filter with a very wide control range, adjustable resonance and level control. There are additional control voltage inputs for the three controls, and the signal polarity can also be switched for each channel. The four filters are connected in parallel and lead to their individual outputs and are output as a summed output. Musically, Oradea is a special kind of treat, as the module is able to emphasize partial aspects of the incoming audio signal and/or imprint a vocal to strongly resonant character. If you add the Arad Expander to Oradea, you get separate individual inputs for the channels, click-free mute switching via buttons and/or Gate and trigger buttons for the Excite feature.
