CXR10 MK3 – passive 10" full-range loudspeaker

The CXR10 MK3 is a passive 2-way bass-reflex full-range loudspeaker featuring a 10" woofer and a 1" compression driver with a 1.75" diaphragm. Its power handling capacity is 275 W Noise, 550 W PGM and 1,100 W Peak. The loudspeaker offers a frequency response of 54 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) and achieves a calculated maximum sound pressure level of 123 dB peak at 1 m. The dispersion angle is 90° horizontal × 60° vertical, and the crossover frequency is 2.0 kHz. The enlarged horn extends the frequency range of the directional control, whilst the large central port reduces the effects of wind noise and standing waves.

Flexible positioning and installation

The symmetrically designed polypropylene enclosure allows not only floor-standing installation but also use as a floor monitor at an angle of 55°. The dual-angle 35 mm mounting bracket allows for alignment at 0° or a downward tilt of 7°. Mounting points for M8 eye bolts are provided for suspended installation.

Parallel loudspeaker connection

Two speakON NL4MP sockets connected in parallel allow connection to a power amplifier or active mixer, as well as signal routing to another loudspeaker. The nominal impedance is 8 ohms. An internal protection circuit temporarily switches off the loudspeaker unit if the signal is too strong. The CXR10 MK3 measures 502 × 310 × 310 mm (H/W/D) and weighs 12.2 kg. The UB-DXRDHR12A U-bracket is available as an optional accessory.
