The Yamaha Concert Snare-Drum CSM-1465 A comes with two types of snare wire making this flexible for different situations.
The coiled wire (standard) offers slightly more sustain suited to popular styles such as March and classical. The straight snare wire performs exceptionally in halls or large rooms delivering a very clear sound suited to intricate patterns in ensembles. The 14x6.5” maple shell with Remo heads provides a powerful sound and versatility to any drummer part of an orchestral ensemble.
