With DHR and CHR, Yamaha presents two new series of three active and three passive sound reinforcement loudspeakers respectively, positioned between the entry-level DBR/CBR models and the high-end DZR/CZR line, delivering professional results without straining the budget. With three models of different sizes, the new DHR series offers the right speaker for every conceivable application: a 10" model for fixed installation and utility use, a 12" model designed as a floor monitor, and a 15" version for FOH applications. All feature bespoke transducers powered by DSP-equipped Class D amplifiers for impressive sound quality and clarity. Combined with practical features tailored to each use case, the range gives you the flexibility to choose the ideal speaker for a wide variety of sound environments.

The DHR15M is a 2-way bi-amp active speaker with a 15" woofer and a 1.75" HF driver in a space-saving coaxial configuration, perfect for use as a floor monitor. It not only fills the gap between the largest and smallest models in Yamaha's new speaker series but also offers even greater flexibility. As Yamaha's first dedicated floor monitor, it impresses with distortion-free, perfectly phase-accurate levels of up to 131 dB despite its compact size.
The DHR15M combines a 1000-watt amplifier and high-performance DSP with the same plywood construction used in Yamaha's high-end DZR series, ensuring superior sound quality and durability. The speaker is equalized with state-of-the-art DSP and provides two frequency response presets for use as either a FOH PA or floor monitor. A switchable high-pass filter offers effective, intuitive bass management for demanding environments or operation with additional subwoofers.

.The DHR15M not only impresses with the concentrated power of its Class D amplifier but also requires no additional technical equipment for small events. The built-in mixer allows two signal sources to be connected, with input one featuring an XLR/TRS combo socket for direct microphone connection.
Input two also includes a flexible combo socket for balanced cabling and easily accepts line sources of all kinds. Stereo sources can also be connected via additional RCA inputs.
Both inputs can be mixed directly on the loudspeaker, allowing everyday sound reinforcement tasks to be managed without any external gear.
Yamaha, one of the leading manufacturers of professional sound reinforcement equipment for more than fifty years, knows that touring is not for the faint-hearted. That is why the new DHR/CHR loudspeakers have been developed with maximum durability and robust construction in mind. The enclosures are made of solid plywood with a highly resistant polyurea coating, and together with the sturdy grilles, they ensure that these powerful speakers can withstand even the hardest knocks. All models in the CHR/DHR series include high stand flanges, while the CHR15 and DHR15 are also equipped with professional flying points.
