Product information - Yamaha FSX 800 C SDB

Concert-body with solid spruce top, body made of Nato and Okume, Cutaway and System 66 pickup

The Yamaha FSX 800 C from the popular FS series is the ideal companion for smaller people who appreciate the ergonomics of the compact and small Concert-Body. A solid spruce top is enthroned on a body of Nato and Okume and resonates with clear, warm and distinctive bass and brilliant treble. In addition, the conventional bracing has been reworked and tapered at essential points. This so-called "Scalloped Bracing", in cooperation with a wafer-thin finish, provides a more intensive sound with improved resonance and radiance. The compact body is ideal for fingerstyle and light strumming, while the cutaway also allows playing in higher frets without any problems.

Thanks to the in-house System 66 pickup, the experienced guitarist has full access to the tone control. In addition to a volume control, a three-band equalizer is already integrated to control bass, midrange and treble. The built-in tuner ensures good sound on stage, making precise tuning really easy. Last but not least, the System 66 delivers a crystal-clear sound with the widest possible range and amazing dynamics.
