Whether professional or beginner: The HPH-MT7 headphones from Yamaha are always striking in detail and high resolution. Not only the elegant design but also the linear frequency response and the exact stereo image reflect Yamaha's decades of experience and joy of experimentation. Even studio monitors compete with these headphones because they don't distort the sound and emphasize even the most inconspicuous nuances that might not have been noticed on other devices. This is the be-all and end-all for a mix that should be"visible" on every system. The HPH-MT7 are therefore a great help especially for those whose rooms have gaps in the frequency response or overemphasize certain areas. Of course, experienced sound engineers also benefit from the headphones, which can be used as second monitors;
Inside are the special transducers made of aluminium wire and coated with highly conductive copper with CCAW voice coils and powerful neodymium magnets. They have a low weight, are nevertheless powerful and provide the high-quality sound that meets the highest demands. This specially developed technology, on which the headphones are based, enables a wide frequency range from 15 Hz to 25kHz.
The acoustic properties of the external components such as the arms and the auricle have also been optimized to contribute to the precision of sound reproduction and the elimination of external resonances. Because the auricle construction is closed and the headphones come with large, lightweight ear cushions, nothing stands in the way of long studio and live sessions. This allows the audio engineer to concentrate fully on his work without being distracted by external influences. Further wearing comfort also includes the individual adjustment of the three-dimensional swivel arm construction and the adjustable length of the sliders. The earcups can also be removed for optional single-ear monitoring.
In order to be resistant to daily use in the studio or on tour, the durability of the components was always taken into account during development. For example, the housing is made of robust ABS, the support arms of die-cast aluminium and the brackets of sweat-resistant material. The headphones are connected via a gold-plated, corrosion-resistant stereo mini jack plug. A suitable 6.3mm adapter plug for professional audio equipment is of course also included in the delivery, while the 3m cable ensures sufficient mobility and maximum flexibility at the workplace;
