True-to-original sound even in the smallest of spaces
The Yamaha HS3 rounds off Yamaha's popular HS series with space-saving and easy-to-transport multifunctional speakers. Carefully selected components such as a powerful Class D amplifier and a heavy-duty MDF cabinet, combined with the 3.5" woofer driver and 0.75" soft dome tweeter, ensure that the HS3s deliver true-to-life sound despite their small size. In addition, the HS3s have a specially designed bass reflex port, which counteracts turbulence in the outflowing air thanks to its wavy structure and thus ensures a more defined and tighter bass range - the so-called "Twisted Flare Port" technology. With this technology, the HS3s are able to reach a decent low end and, at 85 Hz (@-3 dB), provide a bass foundation that is easy to work with.

Small, affordable, but also solid, well-built, and most importantly good sounding speakers. The bass sounds better than I expected, and instruments are nicely separated. I'm impressed.
