This stand was indeed more expensive than a generic keyboard stand, but it is so much neater and as the piano in our living room, that is imporant. Weirdly it makes the piano look smaller than it is. This was an added treat for my chronically ill wife as she can now sit and play whenever she's well enough and for a former professional musican, having music back in her life is unbelievably important.
