The Yamaha MGX16 is a compact digital mixer that combines classic live mixing requirements with modern recording and streaming integration. With 8 mono and 4 stereo channels plus sound pad and FX returns, it offers a practical channel architecture for solo artists, duos, small bands, podcast setups or rehearsal rooms. Operation is via a 15+1 fader surface and a 4.3" touchscreen, giving you quick control over channel editing, routing and scenes.
For production, the MGX12 is both an interface and a recorder: 22 inputs and outputs in 32-bit/96 kHz are available via USB MAIN, and there is also a separate 2x2 USB SUB for flexible integration of additional audio sources. Alternatively, or as a backup, you can record multitrack directly to microSD. There is also Bluetooth audio input and a comprehensive DSP package ranging from dynamics processing and EQ to amp simulation, voice changer and REV-X reverb. This makes the MGX16 suitable as a FOH and monitor center in a small venue as well as a robust control center for the home studio.

The GUI of the new Yamaha MGX can be customized so that you can route important functions directly to a separate control panel. This applies to the control buttons next to and below the display.

The 4.3" touchscreen plus five controls/encoders form the central control point of the Yamaha MGX. This allows you to work quickly and purposefully on the digital mixing console.
