The PSR-I500 from Yamaha is an entertainer/home keyboard that specializes in sounds and rhythms from India. With its selected exotic sounds and rhythms, it is the perfect musical companion for a dance evening, atmospheric play in a restaurant or theme-oriented music making in music lessons.
The 48-voice polyphonic keyboard uses AWM sound generation and features 800 high-quality, versatile sounds that cover as many as 32 drum kits. Over 40 sounds have been carefully created for Indian instruments, including sitar, nadaswaram, veena, bulbul, bansuri, esraj, santoor, dhol, harmonium, shenai, tabla and tanpura. More than 50 Reverb, Chorus, Master EQ, Harmony and DSP effects can be used immediately to enhance your favorite sounds.
The automatic accompaniment included in the PSR-I500 masters the traditional Indian "Raga scales" and simplifies practice with traditional rhythm instruments. With 60 preset songs and 10 user songs there is already a good basis to get started with your own keyboard playing. The internal sequencer has a capacity of 19,000 notes. Of course sounds can be combined by layers, a split mode is also integrated to play two sounds at the same time. In addition, the arpeggiator allows basslines and imaginative melodies to be played in the blink of an eye.
