The Pacifica 212's ergonomically contoured alder body features a maple top with figured maple veneer, whose intense flame is beautifully highlighted by the transparent finish. The slim bolt-on maple neck ensures excellent playability for both basic and advanced techniques across the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Flexible sound, solid hardware
The classic HSS configuration with an Alnico V humbucker on the bridge and Alnico V single coils in the neck and middle positions gives the Pacifica 212 a versatile tonal palette. From powerful humbucker sounds for rock and metal to traditional overdrive and clean tones from the neck and middle pickups, nearly any sound idea can be realized on an amplifier. Finally, the Yamaha Pacifica 212VFM TBL Translucent Black is equipped with a Yamaha Vintage-Style tremolo for expressive pitch effects and tuning-stable die-cast tuners.
