A marriage of classical elements and modern functionality, the Yamaha SVC300C Silent Cello is the ideal instrument for a wide range of musical styles. Constructed from a maple neck and a spruce and maple body, the instrument features a unique cavity structure that gives the SVC300C's sound a natural resonance. Combined with Yamaha's proprietary SRT Powered System technology, the result is a rich cello sound that mimics the resonant behaviour of acoustic instruments and can be easily reproduced through headphones or an amplifier. Last but not least, the birch wood knee rests enable the correct realisation of traditional playing techniques.
