The Yamaha TRBX505 5-string bass guitar in Translucent Brown brings the best features of the highly successful Yamaha RBX and TRB models together in one incredibly versatile instrument.
The TRBX505 features a 3D sculpted mahogany body that has been designed with the perfect balance between playing comfort and tone in mind. Accompanying the body is a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck that is finished off with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
The Yamaha TRBX505 comes equipped with a pair of powerful H5 alnico humbucker pickups that provide a sparkling, clean tone. The pickups are joined by an extremely flexible active/passive preamp that allows for an incredible level of control over the tone to be achieved.

It's my first bass guitar so I may be a little biased but all I gotta say is that at this price mark you are getting a professional guitar. For me it ticks all the boxes: great price, killer looks, playability, craftsmanship (especially neck and frets), versatility (both active and passive pickup configuration), sexy sleek design. I mean there is really nothing bad to say about this guitar even if I wanted to be picky. So overall, my best buy for a long time. Thank you everybody at Yamaha for creating this baby and DV247 to ship it so fast. It reached me in 5 days and was £80 cheaper than UK online retailers. Cheers!
