Yamaha YTR-6310 Z

The Yamaha YTR6310Z Bb Trumpet, Bobby Shew Model - was designed for the requirements of trumpet player Bobby Shew. The need for an instrument that could scream out a lead line as well as play a soft, mellow ballad was the prerequisite and with that the Z trumpet was born. The stepped bore design offers the player more resistance to play with and coupled with the instruments reverse leadpipe results in a trumpet with great presence and character.

This popular Jazz model trumpet has been improved with an upgraded handmade 5” yellow brass bell which produces a big warm sound that is capable of projecting over any ensemble. Many other enhancements to the Yamaha YTR-6310Z are based on the revolutionary Yamaha Xeno technology.

The Yamaha YTR-6310Z Bb trumpet comes in a Yamaha hard case and is supplied with a Yamaha TR-11B4 trumpet mouthpiece.
