The Z.Vex Super Hard On is based on the input stage of a recording console from the 1960s and delivers an extremely transparent Boost , detailed and absolutely unadulterated reproduction of the instrument character and playing style. Here the level boost can be perfectly adjusted using the "Crackle Okay " knob, which crackles characteristically when turned due to the Vintage circuitry.
