The Zildjian Planet Z Ride 20” in Traditional Finish is made from brass and is aimed at aspiring and budget-conscious drummers. As the largest ride cymbal in the Planet Z range, it features a ‘Heavy’ cymbal thickness . Thanks to the use of brass, the Planet Z cymbals are not onlyexcellent value for money, but their sound also makes them perfect for beginners. The bright sound of brass ensures good presence and projection, whilst the controlled, short sustain prevents the sound from becoming muddled. This means you can always hear exactly what you’re playing, creating the ideal conditions for training your ear.
The Planet Z cymbals have been redesigned from the ground up. The hammering and cutting patterns have been modernised, resulting in a refreshing new look and sound. A new logo distinguishes the cymbals introduced in 2020 from their predecessors. Although the cymbals are aimed at beginners and budget-conscious drummers, Zildjian manufactures the Planet Z series in the United States, just like all other Zildjian cymbals.
