Shaping, accompanying and recording acoustic sound - compact, versatile and suitable for the stage

The Zoom A1 FOUR is an innovative multi-effects unit that not only provides first-class studio-quality effects for acoustic guitars, but also for traditional string and wind instruments. Up to five of the more than 80 integrated effect, amplifier, speaker and microphone simulations, which are specially tuned to the characteristics of acoustic instruments, can be used simultaneously, so that there are no limits to the creation of inspiring sounds. Furthermore, the Zoom A1 FOUR offers an integrated Looper with up to 30 seconds recording time and a drum computer with 68 rhythms of the most popular unplugged styles for varied practising and creating your own songs. For miking acoustic instruments, the Zoom A1 FOUR also comes with the external Zoom MAA-1 microphone preamp, which works with both dynamic and condenser microphones.

Extensive effects for acoustic instruments

The Zoom A1 FOUR also has an extensive effects library for all acoustic guitars and string or wind instruments, which has been specially tailored to their characteristic sound properties. Accordingly, almost 80 effects from the areas of drive, modulation, filter and dynamics offer the possibility of adapting the sound to your own ideas or even completely alienating it. The Zoom A1 FOUR also connects to the free Zoom Guitar Lab software via the USB port, which can be used to load additional effects or make precise fine-tuning adjustments.

Zoom MAA-1 Preamp for microphones

Last but not least, the Zoom A1 FOUR comes with the practical Zoom MAA-1 microphone preamp, to which microphones can be connected for miking the instruments used. The practical preamp not only supports dynamic microphones, but also condenser microphones thanks to switchable 48 V phantom power.
