Mix digitally - think analog

At the heart of the Zoom LiveTrak L12next is a direct, tactile workflow. Each channel is equipped with a 60 mm fader and three multifunctional endless knobs that control EQ, gain, panorama, compression or sends, depending on the mode. The result is clear operation without complicated menus, making it ideal for quick decisions in live situations and efficient mixing in the studio.

High-quality preamps for clean sound

The newly developed microphone preamps deliver up to +70 dB gain with extremely low self-noise. Thanks to the PAD circuit, Hi-Z inputs and switchable +48 V phantom power, the LiveTrak L12next reliably processes both dynamic and condenser microphones and instruments. This ensures transparent recordings and robust levels in every application.

Multi-track recorder for Live and studio

The integrated recorder enables simultaneous recording of up to 14 tracks at 24 bit and 96 kHz directly to a micro SD card. In addition, the stereo master is recorded in 32-bit float format, effectively avoiding clipping. Functions such as Overdub and Auto Punch In/Out support precise post-recordings and make the LiveTrak L12next a flexible production tool.

Individual monitor mixes for musicians and technicians

With five independent monitor outputs, separate mixes can be created for headphones, in-ear systems or stage monitors. This gives each musician their own mix, while the sound engineer always has an overview via a dedicated control room output and talkback function.

Scenes, effects and visual control

Up to ten scenes can be saved and recalled at any time - including fader positions, EQ settings, effects and mutes. LED level meters and a fader position indicator provide clear visual feedback. The setup is complemented by 16 integrated effects such as reverbs and delays, which can be used quickly and selectively.

Audio interface, streaming and app control

As a USB audio interface with 14 inputs and 4 outputs, the Zoom LiveTrak L12next can be seamlessly integrated into Mac, Windows and mobile setups. Simultaneous recording to computer and micro SD card is possible as well as integration into streaming software. In addition, the Zoom LiveTrak L12next can be expanded with the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter. This enables wireless control via the L12next Control App on the iPad. Faders, EQs, effects, scenes and monitor mixes can be conveniently adjusted from the auditorium, rehearsal room or directly from the stage.

Flexibly expandable for professional use

Optional accessories such as a footswitch for hands-free operation or a rackmount kit for permanent installation further expand the range of applications. Despite its extensive features, the LiveTrak L12next remains compact, lightweight and easy to transport.
