The Zoom VRH-8 is a powerful add-on for the Zoom H8 multitrack recorder. It replaces the standard X/Y capsule and can be mounted together with the recorder on a standard microphone stand. The VRH-8 features four small-diaphragm condenser capsules arranged in an Ambisonic configuration. An integrated decoder converts the four signals into a stereo signal in real time, allowing the effortless creation of three-dimensional audio spaces without the usual complex setup. This makes the VRH-8 ideal for capturing immersive soundscapes for computer games, sound installations, room recordings, and exhibitions, especially when combined with 3D video.
