The Q-Con Lite from Icon allows you to have a hands on aproach to controlling your DAW. It has a single 100mm touch-sensitive motorized fader that can be switched between the tracks in your project. Four dual-function encoder knobs, 16 illuminated function buttons, 8 assignable MIDI function buttons, and transport control provide additional control. It has Mackie control for Cubase, Nuendo, Samplitude, Logic Pro, and Ableton Live as well as Mackie HUI control for Pro Tools. A backlit LCD screen displays many control parameters such as its MIDI learn mode. A USB port allows you to easily connect to your Mac or PC.
useful and very compatible to all major daws. Ableton Live support could have been betterin my opinion. Very easy to set up and to work with it. The 4 rotary are the major left down of the product: they arent precise at all and often they give back semi-random values. Also, the plastic used for the rotaries is terribly cheap. Beside that, its not expensive at all, is usb-powered and gives a lot of controls.
