The stage piano at a glance

The KeymaXX SP-1 is a stylish, stage-ready piano with a weighted 88-key hammer action keyboard and a powerful dual 6-watt Stereo speaker system. The easy-to-play instrument is aimed at beginners and advanced players alike and offers eight selected sounds that are suitable for numerous styles from classical to rock, pop and jazz and can be enhanced with reverb and Chorus effects if required. The polyphony of 128 voices is sufficiently high to ensure that no fading note is swallowed up when playing at high speed. The included triple pedal with soft, Sostenuto and Sustain pedals makes the playing possibilities comparable to those of a concert piano.

2-track recording memory and metronome

The linear recording function with a capacity of around 5000 notes proves to be very helpful when practicing new pieces. This allows you not only to inspect yourself but also to replace the third and fourth hand on the instrument when practicing alone. The dual mode for the keyboard divides the keyboard into two sections so that two different sounds can be played simultaneously across the keyboard. A metronome can be switched on at any time for rhythmic orientation.

USB MP3 player

Another highlight of the SP-1 is the integrated USB MP3 player! You can save a few favorite songs you want to practice to on a USB stick (sold separately) and play along while the song is playing. As the MP3 player also works independently, the KeymaXX Stage Piano is also a stereo loudspeaker for playing MP3 songs.

Connections

In addition to the input for the power supply unit, there is a connection for the supplied triple pedal. Stereo outputs connect the instrument to a mixing console, an audio interface or your home stereo system. The stereo input is intended for connecting a smartphone or CD player, for example, and integrating the music from it into the exercises. Thanks to two headphone outputs with 6.3 mm jacks, you can also play and practise undisturbed at any time of day. The SP-1 can be connected to a computer via the USB port and used as a master keyboard with music software (DAW). The MIDI inputs and outputs allow interaction with other MIDI equipment such as a sound expander or a sequencer.

In addition to the mains adapter, the SP-1 comes with a music stand that is ready to use simply by plugging it in. Also included is a triple pedal with soft, Sostenuto and Sustain pedals, which makes the playing possibilities comparable to those of a concert piano.
