I needed XLR microphone cables and accidentally bought a few of these DMX cables.
In the end I ended up happily using them as mic cables with no problems what so ever.

Just remember not to use mic cables for DMX purposes. That can damage your gear!

Good quality dmx cable.
The connectors provide good and safe connection.
I have been using mine for 2 years no problems so far.
They are a bit more expensive than standard mic cables, but if youre spending money on good fixtures dont make the cable the weakest link in the lighting chain.
