Epic 55 Passive Diaphragm

High-End in a compact cabinet

The reProducer Audio Epic 55 consistently transports the qualities of the smaller Epic 5 into the midfield domain: by doubling the active and passive diaphragm area compared to the Epic 5, a significant increase in bass and volume is made possible with a significantly more relaxed overall sound image at the same time, while the enclosure, designed according to the current state of research, achieves a constructive dispersion behaviour without excessive room excitation, even in smaller rooms. The special advantages of the Epic 55, namely dry, deep bass, unmasked treble, a perfect stereo image and clean transients, are of course not only to be explained by the special cabinet design, but are the product of years of work, and the basic requirement for working in a modern production environment.
