The ESP Eclipse QM Tiger Eye Sunburst #US25297 combines classic single-cut aesthetics with high-quality custom shop workmanship and a modern high-end setup. The weight-reduced mahogany body is ideal for long stage performances, while the eye-catching top made of cloud maple in the Tiger Eye Sunburst finish gives the instrument a particularly elegant look. The natural binding and high-gloss finish create a high-quality look that perfectly matches the exclusive character of this ESP Custom Shop Eclipse. However, this model is not only visually impressive: with a Seymour Duncan Custom 14 humbucker set, which can be completely split thanks to the push/pull tone control, countless sounds are possible, ranging from rich high-gain humbucker action to classic single-coil sounds. This unique piece is supplied with a case and certificate of authenticity.
In addition to the elegant top made of cloud maple in the Tiger Eye Sunburst finish, this Eclipse model has other exciting features: For modern and fast playability, ESP relies on a three-strip mahogany neck with a narrow Thin-U profile and an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius and 22 XJ Jescar FW57110 frets. The combination of ergonomic neck profile, high-quality fretting and smooth ebony surface provides a comfortable playing feel for both precise rhythm work and fast lead performances. High-quality hardware components such as a TonePros T3BT/T1Z bridge, Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners and Dunlop locking strap buttons further emphasise the professional standard of this custom shop instrument.
In terms of sound, the Eclipse QM offers everything for modern rock and metal genres. Two Seymour Duncan Custom 14 humbuckers deliver a hefty output with tight basses, present mids and a clearly defined response. Different sound variants can be called up via the two volume controls and the tone control with push/pull function. Both humbuckers can therefore be split via the tone control and enable crisp single-coil sounds as well as hum-free two-coil sounds!
