With the AH200 Audiohub, British manufacturer Laney presents a flexible keyboard amplifier with effects. The amp impresses with its solid build quality and technical specifications that are both impressive to look at and, above all, to listen to. It features a 12” woofer and a 10.1” mid-high driver, covering a frequency range from 46Hz to 18kHz. The power output is specified as 200W / 119dB (continuous) and 100W / 112dB (peak). Laney has fitted the AH200 with an illuminated front panel (when required), which glows in white, blue, green or red.
The keyboard amplifier features a built-in mixer with a total of five inputs. These comprise two micro/line inputs (mono) with 2-band EQ and FX send, two stereo line inputs and an aux input with a small stereo jack, which can also process the Bluetooth signal from a smartphone if required.
The two mono channels also benefit from the effects processor, which offers reverb, room, plate, echo and delay with a total of 16 variations. For the mix, there is a handy 5-band master EQ with faders. As an alternative to the effects processor, you have the option of connecting an external effects unit. With a separately available footswitch, you can cycle through the effects presets one after the other.
