Doepfer A-190-9 Micro MIDI-to-CV/Gate Interface Interface Module

Basic MIDI conversion in just 2TE

With the A-190-9 Micro MIDI to CV/Gate Interface, Doepfer presents its simplest MIDI to CV/Gate interface to date. The module requires just 2 TE of rack space and processes only note values; that is, pitch and gate length, but not velocity, pitch bend, controllers or clock. CV and Gate are each available in duplicate, which in some patches saves the need for a multiple to split the two signals. The module connects to other MIDI equipment via a (separately available) MIDI TRS adapter.

The MIDI input can be internally routed via an Arduino cable to the MIDI output of another A-100 module, provided that module has an internal MIDI output (e.g. A-155-2, A-198-2). This allows, for example, the CV voltage of the A-155-2 to be output in quantised form.
