With the TC Electronic SCF Gold Stereo Chorus/Flanger, the Danish effects manufacturer brings back a true piece of company history: The combination effect from 1976 found widespread use among numerous guitarists shortly after its introduction and had a lasting impact on the then prevailing Clean-Sound of the eighties. The successful mix of chorus, Flanger and Pitch modulation in the Gold version offers the same clearly arranged controls of its predecessor. The Speed knob determines the speed of the sweep, while Width influences the width of the modulation. The Intensity Knob, on the other hand, takes over individual functions for each mode and determines either the signal portion of the effect as Dry/Wet in Chorus mode, the strength of the comb filter in Flanger mode or the Mix between Chorus and Vibrato for the Pitch Modulation Setting.
