The mahogany body with its distinctive V-shape impresses with its unique appearance, while the high-gloss metallic finish further emphasises the elegant look. For maximum stability, ESP relies on a three-strip maple neck with an extra-thin U-profile, which enables particularly fast playing and comfortable playability. Thanks to the 25.5" scale length and ergonomic neck construction, the instrument is ideal for modern rhythm work as well as technically demanding lead performances. The ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius and 24 XJ Jescar FW57110 Stainless frets offers a direct and precise playing feel with particularly durable fretting. The instrument is also fitted ex works with D'Addario NYXL Super Light strings (.009-.042).
The combination of an EMG 66 humbucker on the neck and an EMG 57 humbucker on the bridge delivers rich high-gain sounds with tight bass, clearly defined response and high transparency even with complex chords or fast riff passages. The volume and tone controls and 3-way switch can be used to call up versatile sounds ranging from modern metal planks to singing leads and transparent cleans.
