The EVH 5150III Hypersonic 6L6 2x12 Combo brings the iconic high-gain sound of the 5150 series into a modern format: With the help of powerful digital signal processing, the character of the original 5150III 6L6 tube combo is faithfully reproduced with the typical dynamics, response and rich headroom. In combination with a high-quality 2x12" configuration with Celestion loudspeakers and a closed housing made of plywood, the result is a rich sound that is just as convincing in a band context as it is in the studio.
Fine-tuning for every channel: EQ, NoiseGate and other features
In addition to the authentic sound, the Hypersonic offers numerous features: Revised EQ controls for channels 1 and 2 allow for more precise sound shaping, while separate noise gates per channel - especially in the high-gain range - ensure a clean playing image. The supplied footswitch has also been extended and allows additional switching of Reverb and the effects loop. A power selector with full power and several throttled stages also ensures maximum flexibility, making the amp suitable for both the stage and quiet practice.
Balanced XLR-Out with IR-Cab-Sim: versatile recording or pickup
