The Mesa Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II at a glance
The Mesa Subway+ Bass DI-Preamp II shrinks the sound of the coveted Mesa Subway bass amps to a practical stompbox format for the pedalboard. The successor to the first Subway BassPreamp offers a JFET-based solid-state circuit with extensive sound shaping options. A filter section with hi-pass control and additional voicing knob is available for this purpose, and there is also an active 4-band tone control on board. Versatile connectivity in all environments is ensured by the connections for playback devices, headphones and the Direct Out in XLR format.
