The ART DJ Pre II is a high-quality MM phono preamplifier that acts as an interface between a turntable and an audio workstation, sound card, hi-fi system or monitor setup. Thanks to its integrated, low-noise preamplifier compliant with the RIAA standard, it guarantees the highest precision in record playback.

To ensure optimal adaptation to the cartridge being used, the analogue input capacitance can be selected between 100 pF and 200 pF. A switchable low-frequency cut-off reduces annoying rumble without compromising sound quality. The front-panel continuously adjustable level control, featuring signal and overload indicators, allows the gain to be individually adjusted to suit the specific turntable. The low-impedance line outputs ensure trouble-free connection to any sound card. With a maximum gain of 45 dB, a frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz (±0.5 dB) and a signal-to-noise ratio of over 90 dB, the DJ Pre II delivers impressive signal quality. The distortion rate remains extremely low at just 0.001% (at 1 kHz).

The black anodised aluminium housing is fitted with two RCA inputs and outputs. The power supply is flexible and operates on 7–12 V DC or 9–12 V AC (150 mA).
