The instrument features a classic alder body with a Road Worn nitrocellulose finish in Olympic White, visually evoking the charm of a well-played touring guitar. The maple neck, shaped in a 1968 C-profile with a maple fingerboard and Road Worn oil finish, ensures a smooth playing experience while combining vintage aesthetics with modern playability. Three compensated brass barrel string saddles deliver the characteristic Telecaster twang and precise intonation.
Fender B String Bender
A standout feature of the John Osborne Telecaster is the integrated Fender B String Bender, allowing the B string to be raised a whole tone while playing. Activated via the strap pin with light pressure, the mechanism produces the signature “sobbing” pedal steel sound heard in many modern country recordings.
