Active 2-way loudspeaker with four practical presets

The FBT JMAXX 112A is a powerful active 2-way loudspeaker that is ideal for live sound reinforcement, DJ set-ups, stage monitoring and installation applications. Thanks to its integrated DSP with four practical presets, the speaker adapts flexibly to a wide range of applications – from powerful DJ sounds to clear speech and vocal reproduction.

A 12" woofer with a 2.5" voice coil, combined with a 1" high-frequency compression driver featuring a 1.4" voice coil, ensures powerful and precise sound. The integrated Class D power amplifier delivers a robust 700 watts RMS in the low-frequency range and 200 watts RMS in the high-frequency range, enabling a maximum sound pressure level of up to 131 dB SPL. The frequency response, ranging from 48 Hz to 20 kHz, ensures a balanced sound with rich bass, assertive mid-range and brilliant treble.

The asymmetrical cabinet design not only allows for classic FOH use but also makes the JMAXX 112A a versatile stage monitor. Three different monitor angles – 12°, 40° and 55° – offer maximum flexibility on stage. The robust gas-injected polypropylene cabinet minimises unwanted resonances whilst offering high stability combined with a comparatively low weight.

For maximum versatility, the loudspeaker features a combined XLR/jack input, an XLR link output for signal routing, and a switchable microphone/line input stage. In addition, an integrated high-pass filter ensures optimal operation with subwoofers. The 35 mm tripod flange and integrated M10 flying points enable both portable use and fixed installations. A sturdy front grille reliably protects the loudspeaker components during the rigours of everyday stage and touring use.
