The Duesenberg Julia Catalina Sunset Rose delivers powerful solid-body tones with the distinctive character of classic semi-hollow electric guitars. Its solid mahogany body features a resonance chamber and custom-designed pickups: a Duesenberg Domino P-90 at the neck and a Split/King dual-coil humbucker at the bridge. The hardware is entirely in-house, including tuning-stable Duesenberg Z-Tuners with Art Diego wings and a Duesenberg Deluxe tremolo for classic pitch modulation.

Mahogany body with hollow chamber
The Julia’s body is built in a resonant solid-body design with a hollow chamber and F-hole in the upper bout. This not only makes the guitar lighter on the strap or lap but also adds the airy tonal characteristics of a semi-hollow construction. Thanks to the extra-wide cutaway, even the highest positions of the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard are easily accessible. Visually, the body is elegantly finished with a double cream binding along the top and back edges.
Two classic Duesenberg pickups define the Julia’s sound. The Domino P-90 in the neck position delivers warm, full tones with an articulate single-coil attack, while the Split/King dual-coil humbucker on the bridge handles everything from clear cleans to soaring leads. Using the two toggle switches behind the bridge, the humbucker can be switched to coil-split mode or routed directly to the output jack, bypassing all other electronics for a pure signal.
