Gretsch custom drums for professional studio and stage setups

The Gretsch USA Custom Shell Set Walnut Gloss is a four-piece handmade custom drum set with formula shells and cast hoops.

Composition and material

The USA custom drum set from Gretsch consists of a 22" x 16" bass drum, two Toms in 10" x 7" and 12" x 8" and a 16" x 1" floor tom. The shells are finished with a top-class finish that allows the grain to stand out. Gretsch Formula shells consist of 6 plies, they are hybrids of maple/gum. On the inside, the typical Gretsch Silver Sealing is applied, which seals the wood and extends its durability. A major contribution to the Gretsch sound is made by the rounded 30° shell ridge. Tom and Floor Tom have solid die-cast hoops, which keep the tuning of the Remo heads clean and clear and promise a focused sound.
