The Tama R2014BK-SGW Starlight Bass Drum 20"x14" Sugar White is a professional marching bass drum made from birch. It impresses with its claw hooks offering outstanding strength, specially designed for high tunings, and a light weight of just 9 kg.

Constructed from 7 plies of birch with a shell thickness of 7 mm, it delivers a clearly defined, assertive sound with precise response, ideal for demanding marching performances both indoors and outdoors. The combination of a sturdy shell construction and high-quality components ensures maximum projection and reliable tuning stability, even at high tension levels. The die-cast aluminium high-tension lugs ensure even head tension and support precise, long-lasting tuning. A total of 10 tension blocks ensure optimal distribution of the tension force. The high-gloss black-lacquered tension hoops not only emphasise the elegant satin-black finish but also contribute to the drum’s stability.

A special feature is the Noiseless Carrier Attachment, which effectively minimises unwanted background noise when used with carrying systems.
