The Ibanez RG Prestige RG653DX-TDF combines the RG design, consistently engineered for speed and precision, with high-quality Japanese craftsmanship. An ash body provides the tonal foundation, whilst the five-piece Super Wizard HP neck, crafted from maple and walnut, features an exceptionally slim profile that creates the ideal conditions for fast runs and technically demanding playing. The bound rosewood fingerboard, featuring 24 jumbo frets and a 16.9 radius, emphasises the guitar’s modern character. A DiMarzio Air Norton at the neck and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone at the bridge deliver powerful yet versatile sounds, with a 5-way switch providing additional tone options. The tried-and-tested Ibanez Edge tremolo allows for extensive vibrato and dive-bomb effects whilst maintaining excellent tuning stability, whilst Gotoh tuners round off the high-quality hardware package. The RG Prestige is manufactured in Japan and comes complete with a sturdy hardshell case.
