The Yamaha PSR-E583 keyboard is the more powerful option for anyone who, as well as practising at home, wants to take their performances to the ‘next level’: 61 touch-sensitive keys, an extensive sound set and live-oriented controllers make it a versatile keyboard for the stage, jam sessions and content creation. With 890 voices and 345 styles, you can cover virtually any musical style! In addition, Yamaha provides high-quality Super Articulation Lite voices that authentically reproduce instruments beyond classic keyboard sounds (e.g. guitar string scratches or the breath sounds of wind instruments).

A clear added value of the PSR-E583 is its focus on ‘Local Sounds’: From Afrobeats featuring Igbo instruments, through South American-influenced reed and percussion sounds, to organ voices for worship, the instrument is specifically designed to authentically support regional styles. The keyboard can be ‘tuned to professional standards’ via the DSP effects engine (41 DSP1 + 12 DSP2), which refines the sound of the voices, provides greater texture and can be activated instantly via the DSP button for dynamic performance interventions.

For performance and stage use, the PSR-E583 is also equipped with greater power reserves than the PSR-E483: a high-output amplifier (12 W + 12 W), a pitch bend wheel and a modulation wheel (on the PSR-E583 model), and the option to connect a foot controller (e.g. the optional FC7) to control volume or expression, for example – without taking your hands off the keyboard. Equally practical: a microphone input with vocal effects, extensive connectivity and PA connection options for live performances.
