In demand for their Tonal Characteristics of early Strats without infamous Ambient Noise, these Pick-Ups rely on stepped Alnico 2 Magnets and classic Polysol-Coated Magnet Wire. The result is a crystal clear and defined Tone for openly defined Cleans and distinctive Leads. The Fender Pre-Wired Pickguard Vintage Noiseless is easily interchangeable with any standard 11-Hole Pickguard.
Fender Pre-Wired Strat Pickguard Vintage Noiseless SSS (Parchment)Great choice. Very easy to install. Just replaced Seymour Duncan StkS2-SSL1-StkS2 configuration. Now have my true strat sound back. (Don't get me wrong; my Seymour Duncan invention served me very very very well for many years but sometimes you feel like it's the time to change something in your life.) Vintage noisless set is greatly balanced for clean and distorted sound. Also, very easy to set the hight of the pickups - in fact they sound great in almost any position. If somebody thinks that they lack some "chime and brightnes" maybe its worth to adjust the amp just a little bit... Clapton did it:)
