The Ibanez Pat Metheny PM3C-BKL Black Low Gloss is the latest Ibanez signature guitar for 20-time Grammy award winner Pat Metheny. This hollowbody instrument features a vibrant solid spruce top on a maple body for maximum acoustic resonance. The neck, made of three strips of maple and nyatoh wood with a PM profile, offers ideal conditions for vocal jazz leads and complex chords. The Ibanez Pat Metheny PM3C uses a PM Special pickup in the neck position to shape its sound. This pickup, inspired by the classic Charlie Christian design, delivers a particularly honest tone with a direct response that skillfully captures every tonal nuance. The PM3 is finished with an Ibanez Gibraltar bridge, a matching VT200 tailpiece, and Ibanez tuners – all in an elegant titanium gold finish.
