With the Paoletti Darrell Braun Signature , the Italian boutique manufacturer presents a stylish signature model developed in collaboration with guitarist and content creator Darrell Braun. Like all instruments from Paoletti, this model also features the characteristic body made from aged chestnut wood, which is crafted from historic chestnut wine barrels. The construction is complemented by a bolt-on neck made from Canadian roasted maple and a high-quality pau ferro fingerboard, giving the guitar a comfortable feel and, thanks to the Heavy Black finish, a unique look. A key feature of the brand is its comprehensive customisation concept: virtually all components can be individually specified on request, making every instrument a truly one-of-a-kind piece. The models available in the shop are also based on this custom design principle and represent specific configurations within the respective series, allowing a fully personalised guitar to be crafted on request.
Two in-house Paoletti Rock II humbuckers, entirely handcrafted in Italy, ensure the right sound. With a DC resistance of 8.1 kOhm and Alnico-5 magnets, they deliver a balanced sound that combines 1950s vintage character with modern punch. Thanks to the push/pull function , both humbuckers can be split, providing authentic single-coil sounds for an exceptionally wide tonal range. High-quality CTS potentiometers and a CRL switch ensure precise and reliable operation.
The specification is rounded off by original Paoletti OEM hardware, comprising 3+3 Kluson Deluxe tuners and a Gotoh TOM bridge, which is perfectly matched to the instrument and guarantees reliable performance both on stage and in the studio. With its high-quality craftsmanship, exclusive hardware materials and stylish ‘Heavy Black’ finish, the Paoletti Darrell Braun Signature is aimed at guitarists seeking a distinctive boutique instrument with a unique tone and exceptional design.
Paoletti Guitars is an Italian custom guitar maker specialising in handcrafted instruments made from high-quality chestnut wood, often sourced from historic wine barrels. This Italian family-run business can look back on a tradition dating back 130 to 170 years: each instrument is crafted by hand using traditional methods and combines a distinctive appearance with a unique, bespoke character.
A key feature of the brand is its comprehensive customisation concept: on request, almost all components can be specified individually. Customers are free to choose everything from the body shape and series (Wine, Loft or Lounge) through to neck and fingerboard options (e.g. bespoke inlays) right through to pickups, hardware and finish (from colour-over-colour options to bespoke graphics), allowing customers to freely decide on the instrument’s specifications.

Both classic and unusual combinations can be realised, including various pickup configurations (e.g. SSS, HSS, P90 setups), different bridge systems, or bespoke colour and ageing options with multi-layered finishes. Even details such as fretboard inlays, tuning machines or pickguard materials can be specifically customised.
Every Paoletti is therefore not merely a ‘Custom Shop’ instrument, but a unique, one-off piece. Even the models available in the shop are based on this custom design principle and represent specific configurations within their respective series.
