An authentic playing experience and modern connectivity in your living room
The Clavinova CLP-825 B digital piano features a weighted GrandTouch-S keyboard, which ensures a natural, precise playing experience. Ten tones, including the Yamaha CFX – created using binaural sampling – deliver outstanding sound. The use of enhanced Virtual Resonance Modelling (VRM) technology opens up new dimensions of sound in the world of digital pianos. New to the Yamaha CLP-825 are the fortepiano sounds, which allow classical music from the 18th and early 19th centuries in particular to be reproduced naturally. The built-in amplifier, with an output of 2 x 20 watts, delivers tremendous richness of sound and optimal tonal response.
GrandTouch-S keyboard
The Yamaha CLP-825 digital piano features a high-quality, touch-sensitive GrandTouch-S keyboard with a wide dynamic range and a responsive playing feel on a par with a concert grand piano. The surface of all the highly absorbent keys is made of synthetic ivory. This prevents fingers from slipping, even during extended playing sessions, and provides a natural playing feel. A pressure-point mechanism built into the keyboard reproduces the sensation just before the key reaches its full depression. This mechanism has been designed to be noticeable only with light pressure, similar to the keyboard of a concert grand piano.
Full Sound Experience
Grand Expression Modelling, a newly developed technology in the field of digital pianos, interprets the interaction and interplay of the mechanical elements of a concert grand piano. It optimally replicates the interaction and interplay of the hammers, dampers and strings when a key is struck. The two sounds, recorded using binaural sampling – the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos – ensure an unrivalled listening experience. Another special feature is the fortepiano (Hammerklavier) sounds, which naturally reproduce the classical music of the 18th and early 19th centuries.
