D'Addario ECB81 45-100 Chromes Flatwound Stainless Steelthe Daddarios are fine strings. In the beginning the strings didnt sound as I hoped to but after a week of playing they sound just the way as told. My advice to you is When you go on stage, do not use these string brand new. Play them for a week first then they sound very wel.
I am really satisfied with these strings, I used to put Thomastik flats on my basses, but these chromes are my newest favorites. Nice and easy to play, more defined high's and lows, smooth like a baby's buttock and a real joy to hear in the mix! I ordered from Holland on Sunday and they were delivered on Tuesday, now that's remarkable fast also! Thnx for the great service and the great strings!
